 Newspapers

• Which daily newspapers (if any) do you read?

I do not generally read news papers but when i do it is usually 'the Sun'

• What sections of newspapers do you turn to first, and why?

I turn to global politics first as i like to know what is going around the world

• What sections do you never read, and why?

I do not read the advertisements for commercial goods and anything to do withy purchasing anything as i just do not enjoy being told what to buy

• What kinds of stories do you usually read and why?

I generally read stories on certain things that have been happening such as a crime that's recently been reported or a story on someone in science as i find these quite interesting to just know

• Do you, or someone else, buy the newspaper you read?

i do not buy it i can generally get a free newspaper from buses or train stations 

• Do you look at the online versions of any newspapers? Which newspapers? Why do you visit their
•  website and not others?

I prefer the online versions of newspapers as i can go straight to any topic i want and will generally know the main headline first and foremost but I do not use one specific newspaper it can range depending on what topic I read.

Magazines

• What magazines (if any) do you buy regularly?  Why/why not?

I don't usually read magazines mostly because I don't generally have any interest in any topics they provide

I don't usually read magazines

Television

• Approximately how many hours a week do you spend watching television?

I don't spend much time watching television, maybe around 4 hours of tv if the news is on

• What device do you use to watch television?

I use the tv or my phone/laptop

• What times of day do you usually watch television?

In the evening usually

• What programmes do you like best and why?

I like movies and the news the most, movies because it might be a movie i have never watched and news because i like to know what's going on around me

i generally watch alone and when i do watch with someone else it is usually a movie or the news

yes i do but very rarely on my phone


Radio

Very rarely

whatever is on at the time

sometimes

Only a few hours

generally around mid day

when I'm walking or in my room

Not really but when i do hear the radio its in the kitchen when they are cooking

most times alone but definitely with family

I use mostly my email at school

when I'm on the internet I'm usually just focusing on that

My primary device is my phone but i do use my laptop as well

Instagram and WhatsApp mostly to communicate with friends and scroll on Instagram

By adding more podcasts and newspapers to my everyday 

• What will you change in your media consumption habits this year as a result of studying A Level

Reduce consumption of one single type of media and broaden it
